Atlanta Natural Hair Care Show June 2003

The Natural Hair Care Show was a great success this year. I shared a booth with 3 other Sisterlock trainee’s Calla Johnson, Wanda Washington, and Bren White. Also Yvonne Mobley, Sisterlock Trainer joined us for the 3-day event. We all had a wonderful time meeting and greeting people who where interested in Sisterlocks and Brotherlocks. I talked to so many people I lost my voice. There were vendors from all over with clothes, jewelry, hair ornaments and hair products needless to say and I filled up my little suitcase. But one of the most fun things I did while there was my Glamour Makeover!

A hair magazine called Salon Sense was offering a deal that I could not pass up. For the cost of the subscription you also got an opportunity for make-up and photos both done by professionals. You know I signed up! make-up was done by ANIKA (click on her name to see her web-site) who was wonderful. She coordinated my make-up with a matching drape and I was ready. Next, Sean Cokes Photography’s whose studio is here in Atlanta did the photos.
